Fabricate: Re-Render Testing

I am testing out backgrounds that I could use in my re-render to see what works well and what doesn't.

Original:

This is just a plain back background with a view of my hero model derived from 81 iterations. Although the background is plain and simple, a background could enhance aspects of the model.

One:

The colours used in this background are similar to those I have painted my model with. This creates a clear connection between the physical model and the digital model.

Two:

The movement of lines helps display the curved aspects of my model. However the colours seem too bright, and don't reflect my words as much as some of the other backgrounds. The white colour contradicts the violent, storm and shatter as white is said to represent innocence.

Three:

The pattern on this image is really intriguing, whilst portraying a sense of mess and chaos. Although I like the feeling this image portrays, it is not suitable because the model becomes too lost in the background.
Four:

This destroyed piece of wood has an intriguing center piece which helps display the violence, however the area surrounding is too peaceful, contracting the message I wish to portray.

Five:

I found another image of destroyed wood which works better because the surrounding wood is not perfect and is affected by the destruction.

Six:

This image mainly helps portray the words storm and shatter as the lightning looks as though it is shattering the model. But the colours do not work with my physical model and therefore the background is not as suitable as some of the others.
