Fabricate: Inspiration

I have undergone further research into the assembly and development of the laser cut models.

One:
I have found work that is very intricate and design with a lot of finesse. Therefore the laser cutting must very very fine and very exact to be able to follow the cutting of the work. The contrasting colours that have been used to show the image are very effective in this instance. The material is coloured in a dark colour to contrast the empty space/areas where the laser cutting has cut out. This is a very effect way to portray the design where the contrasting colour helps viewers to see the design in a different light.

Two:
I have looked at incorporating laser etching into my design. There are many possibilities that laser etching provides and many opportunities to enhance designs. As seen in the image above, etching can be very detailed, but can also take a lot of time. So it depends on how much time is avaliable versus how much the etching is going to enhance the model/design.
