Interactivity & Control: Narrative

Design an interaction.

After investigating interaction and control and determining the qualities needed to create an interaction I have decided my idea and the direction I want to head in.

I am going to be creating this interaction based on Idea Two. I am going to have multiple objects on a page that are affected by the movement of the mouse. When the mouse is dragged passed an object, the object will rotate clockwise or anticlockwise and also move away from the mouse. With multiple objects on the page, this will effectively shuffle the objects around the screen. The objects can also be click on creating movement away from the mouse position. If two objects were to "collide" then they would explode. Having objects disappear means that the need for being able to create new objects is large. Therefore I will need to have a way to create new objects.

Because the user must interact to understand how the experience works and to learn the features, this is an appropriate interaction. Once the user has learned the functions, the objects become more controlled, but still in an interactive way.
