Given image:
To draw in the style of this designer I used the sections of my highlighter that I had previously drawn and cut them out. As I had drawn them in a 1:1 scale they were the exact size of the real highlighter. I then crumpled these up and took a photo which I then redraw.

I decided to increase the number of sections of highlighter as the style of the drawing had lots of different views of the Malboro packet.
