DSDN112: Image Resizing

As the images I had inserted into the code previously warped because of the responsive feature. This changed the width and height of the image to fill up the size of the screen. The resulting image was very distorted and after viewing for a while began to hurt my eyes because it distorted the perception.
I played with the code for awhile and decided that the best way to solve this dilemma was to edit the images in Photoshop to make them the same size. This allowed me to further develop the visual styles within the web comic and make it more appealing.
As I edited the images, I wanted to further play with the black and white contrast that was already located on the page. The black and white contrasting tones really stand out, sending a powerful message. I edited the image and tested using both a white and black background for the image frame within the slider.
The black background is very strong and looks adequate when the white hover of the mouse action is occurring. But when this action is not occurring, it is too dark for the rest of the page. Where as the white background looks good when the hover action is occurring and when it isn't. The white background is kept in place using black framing. The contrast also indicates a new/different area.
