DSDN112: Content Slider

Using the same open source site I found a file containing a content slider. This was a simpler version that only contained one transition, coming up vertically from the bottom of the slider to the top. Looking at the HTML, CSS and JS code, I could automatically understand what events were happening more than the last open source code I had found.
Almost instantly I was able to modify the code to change the direction to horizontal. I really wanted the new image/page to transition onto the page horizontally to keep the landscape direction I used for the physical version of the comic. I also have begun to play around with the size of the slider, timing etc.
I have decided to continue using a slider as it is a nice way to view the pages of the comic. Having it on a slide show where I am able to adjust the timer and have buttons is a convenient way to have both interaction and a visual aid. The navigation buttons are important for the user to control the speed they are using to read through the comic, and also go back if they desire. However having a slideshow is a handy feature if they forget to click or take too long and become bored to draw them back in.
