The storyline for my zine will be about a dog that has been abandoned. This dog has taken refuge on the beach where it is cold and windy and has no one to look after it. The dog is seen wandering around different areas of the beach looking sad and forlorn, with no one to care for it. A man sees the dog on the beach in different places and at different times, realizing that the dog has no home. The man rescues the dog and invites the dog into his home, where he cares for the dog. The dog is seen happy playing, eating, and being loved by its rescuer. The dog is content with life, and unfortunately becomes sick and dies.

I have done a quick draft of a storyboard to help my planning process and how I am going to create my zine in 8 pages. I have decided that each page of the story will be on the left hand side of the comic book. There will be a white page on the left. It is this page where I will put something later on in the story.
