Colours:
Video 1 -

·         Associated with particular objects, makes you think about them
·         Colour helps convey context and meaning
·         Indicates to viewer how they should feel
·         Colour defined by relationship to other colours
·         Use careful when focal point. Gives importance
·         Context can change the meaning associated with the colours
·         Subliminal portal to viewers mind

·         Environmental colours can be different
·         Life sustaining colour associations
·         Universally understood colours.
·         Opposite colours are called cultural colours
·         Eg white in west is wedding, in east death
·         Colours are related to feelings.
·         Colours in images can be personal, may not fit with others ideas and feelings.

·         Architecture of design comes first before colour is applied (can be the other way around though)
