The exercise we did was picking a noun, verb or adjective and drawing the essence of the word, not the word itself. I chose the word RUN and this is what I came up with for the essence of the word.
RUN
The second exercise consisted of us choosing our own word and playing around with ideas of what we could use. It was the same idea choosing a noun, verb and adjective and working on drawing the essence of the word. I chose the word storm to begin with and while talking to some other people about my ideas, I came up with shatter and started working trying to capture the essence of storm and shatter.
